Ingredients:
1 cup Hemp Heart Baking Flour (127 grams)
1 cup All Purple Flour (120 grams)
1 Mashed Banana (110 grams)
1 cup old fashioned oats (90 grams)
1 egg (50 grams)
½ cup nonfat dry milk powder (57 grams)
1 cup creamy peanut butter (270 grams)
½ cup coconut milk or water (128 grams)
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line 3 baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.
Mix together the hemp heart flour, all-purpose flour, oats, and dried milk.
Add the eggs & peanut butter and stir until the mixture is crumbly.
Add enough water or coconut milk to bring the dough together. *May be more or less than ½ cup depending on the temperature of the room*
Wrap the dough ball in plastic wrap and place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
To roll out, lightly dust your work surface with flour. Roll the dough about ¼ inch thick and cut with a cookie cutter of your choosing. Get creative! Gather & re-roll the scraps & continue to cut the traits until you have used all the dough.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. You can vary the time based on how soft or crunchy your pooch enjoys their treats.
Remove the biscuits from the oven & cool right on the pans.
Yields: 36-42 dog treats (depending on what cookie cutter you use)
Variations:
If you do not have dried milk or your pup has a dairy allergy, omit the dried milk and substitute with more oats.
